- J. Lloyd Ebersole Dairy Cattle Judging Team Award
- The
purpose of this award shall be to honor and recognize outstanding
achievement by an undergraduate student on the Penn State Dairy Cattle
Judging Team who has demonstrated exceptional performance.

- North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge Fund in the College of Agricultural Sciences
- The
purpose of this endowment shall be to enrich the College of
Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University, by
providing monies to support the expense/operational costs associated
with undergraduate students participating in the North American
Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge learning experience. This
extracurricular learning experience is overseen by faculty in the
Department of Dairy and Animal Science.

- Todd,Susan and Jonathan T. May Livestock Judging Award
- The
purpose of this award shall be to honor and recognize outstanding
achievement by an undergraduate student who is enrolled in the College
of Agricultural Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who has
demonstrated exceptional performance in livestock evaluation,
selection, and judging as a member of the Penn State University
Livestock Judging Team.

- Charles and Jane Brosius Annual Scholarship in the College of Agricultural Sciences
- This
scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to
outstanding undergraduate students majoring or planning to major in
Animal Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences. The student
must have achieved good academic records or demonstrate promise of
academic success. First preference shall be given to full-time
undergraduate students who meet the above mentioned criteria and who
were members of a Chester County 4-H Club.

- Eugene and Carol Schurman 4-H Scholarship in the College of Agricultural Sciences
- This
scholarship is designed to provide recognition and financial assistance
to outstanding undergraduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in
the College of Agricultural Sciences who have been active in the
Pennsylvania 4-H program. First Preference shall be given to students
who are majoring or planning to major in Animal Sciences.

- D. Bruce Stauffer Scholarship for Dairy & Animal Science Students in the CAS
- The
purpose of this scholarship shall be to provide recognition and
financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate students majoring or
planning to major in Animal Science in the College of Agricultural
Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University who have a demonstrated
need for funds to meet their necessary college expenses.

- Therese A. Vrooman Memorial Equine Scholarship-Lifetime Endowment
- This
endowment provides monies for the equine science program in the
Department of Dairy and Animal Science. Preference shall be to award
funds to full-time students enrolled or planning to enroll in the
Department of Dairy and Animal Science with an interest in Equine
Science who have achieved superior academic records or who manifest
promise of outstanding academic success.

- C. Lee Rumberger Livestock Judging
- This
fund will provide partial travel expenses for students in the College
of Agricultural Sciences who are qualified members of the Penn State
Livestock, Meats, or Horse Judging Teams who are competing in
recognized judging contests. It may also be used to provide other
educational travel expenses for students in the Animal Science major.

- Vernon E. Hazlett Memorial Award
- This
award will provide recognization and financial assistance to
outstanding undergraduate students enrolled in a major within the
Department of Dairy and Animal Science.

- Penn State Dairymen's Club Award for Freshman Students
- This
award shall be used to honor and recognize outstanding achievement by
an incoming, first or second semester standing, undergraduate student
who is enrolled or planning to enroll in the Animal Scineces major in
the Department of Dairy and Animal Science who has achieved exemplary
academic achievement and possesses outstanding leadership qualities as
evidenced by participation in extracurricular or community activities
related to the dairy industry.

- Robert H. Rumler Memorial Scholarship in Agricultural Sciences
- The
purpose of this scholarship shall be to provide recognition and
financial assistance to outstanding sophomore, junior, or senior year
students who have declared a major in Animal Science in the College of
Agricultural Sciences and who have a demonstrated need for funds to
meet their necessary college expenses.

- This
scholarship will be used to provide recognition and financial
assistance to outstanding undergraduate students enrolled in Animal
Sciences in the College of Agricultural Sciences.

- This
scholarship will provide recognition and financial assistance to
outstanding undergraduate students enrolled in Animal Sciences in the
College of Agricultural Sciences.

- Eastern Meat Packers Association Scholarship in Animal Husbandry
- This
scholarship will assist worthy students who display special interest
and talent in Animal Husbandry, and particularly in the field of meats
as an enrolled student in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science.

- Tim and Amy Baughman Oravec Memorial Award
- This
award will honor and recognize an undergraduate student who is enrolled
or planning to enroll in either the Animal Sciences or AgroEcosystems
Science majors in the College of Agricultural Sciences, and who has
performed outstanding service (paid or unpaid) within the previous
academic year in a crop or applied animal nutrition lab.

- This
award honors and recognizes outstanding achievement by undergraduate
students who are enrolled in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science
in the College of Agricultural Sciences.

- This
endowment will be used to enrich the College of Agricultural Sciences
by providing monies for the maintenance and support of the sheep flock.

- This
scholarship is to provide recognition and financial assistance to
outstanding graduate students enrolled or planning to enroll in
graduate studies in ruminant nutrition in the Department of Dairy and

- This
endowment is designed to enrich the College of Agricultural Sciences by
providing monies for faculty to conduct research in the field of Dairy
Science as it supports the food industry.

- This
endowment is designed to enrich the College of Agricultural Sciences by
providing monies to support collaborative programs between the
Department of Dairy and Animal Science and the Animal Agricultural

Island of Terceira, Azores, Portugal.

purpose of this scholarship shall be to provide recognition and
financial assistance to outstanding incoming freshmen students enrolled

- This
scholarship will provide recognition and financial assistance to
outstanding graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in the Animal
Science major in the College of Agricultural Sciences.

- Kinsley Foundation Angus Fund
- This
endowment provides monies to support the Angus Beef Program in the
Department of Dairy and Animal Science. First preference for funding
shall be for the support of the twenty Angus heifer calves that will be
donated by Robert A. Kinsley.

- This
scholarship provides recognition and financial assistance to
outstanding graduate students who are enrolled or are planning to
enroll in the College of Agricultural Sciences and who are doing
research at the John O. Almquist Research Center in the Department of
Dairy and Animal Science.

- This
award supports graduate work in dairy and food science by honoring and
recognizing outstanding achievement or potential by faculty and

are enrolled in courses leading to a career in the swine industry.

award honors and recognizes outstanding achievements by an incoming
first-year undergraduate student who is enrolled in the Animal Sciences

who have a demonstrated need for funds to meet their necessary college
expenses. This scholarship is also available to undergraduate students
enrolled or planning to enroll in the Department of Dairy and Animal
Science who have a demonstrated need for funds to meet their necessary
college expenses.

Recreation Management; or the Department of Human Development and

- This fund provides financial assistance to members of the Penn State Judging Teams in Livestock, Meats, and Horses.

purpose of this fund is two-fold: to assist in defraying travel

expressed the intention to participate in Penn State Dairy Cattle

- This
award is designed to aid outstanding undergraduate students enrolled in

in the livestock and meat industry.

- This scholarship is for undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences.

- Edgar Allen Day Memorial Fund
- The purpose of this scholarship is to:
1. Pay travel expenses of a deserving graduate student in either food Science or Dairy Science so that s/he may attend a professional meeting for the purpose of presenting research finds.2. Pay travel expenses and/or an honorarium for a visiting scientist to address a graduate seminar in Food Science or Dairy Science and otherwise to enrich the research and graduate study programs in these areas.3. Buy needed equipment for graduate study programs in Food Science or Dairy Science which otherwise might not be available.

- This
award aids outstanding undergraduate students enrolled in the College
of Agricultural Science who have demonstrated an interest in improving
the usefulness of pedigreed livestock for the benefit of mankind.

- This
fund provides annual scholarships not to exceed the amount of full
in-state tuition to aid outstanding and needy students in meeting their
educational expenses.

- Pennsylvania Meat Packers Association Scholarship
- This
scholarship will be made to eligible senior students and graduate
students in the College of Agricultural Sciences. The basis for
selection shall be leadership, scholarship, interest in the commercial
meat business, and financial need.

- Arthur C. Bigelow Memorial Scholarship
- The
entire income from the investment will be applied to support a
scholarship or fellowship for a student registered in the course of
Agriculture with a special reference to sheep husbandry.
